You'll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions. Spanning air, land, sea, and space, we are developing the technology of tomorrow, delivered today. Drawing strength from our differences, we're innovating for the future. And you can, too. Our flexible work environment provides you a chance to change the world without giving up your personal life. BAE Systems is seeking a software engineer with full stack software skills, and at least 4-6 years of software design, code and test experience to join a small team environment on a distributed program. This is a hands-on technical role on a multi-disciplinary team. The back end is built on RESTful web services with a backend SQL based database for storage. The ideal candidate will be familiar with this three-tier architecture.

The development environment follows the SAFE methodology, culminating in delivery to an operational environment. Secure coding practices must be followed due to the strict accreditation the system must adhere to. This position may require business travel in support of customer meetings and operational system deployment and support activities.
