Job Description

BAE Systems is looking for a qualified professional to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting pre-acquisition efforts for the Minuteman III weapon system. The Minuteman III is a 1970s era weapon and is scheduled to be retained as the United States military's prompt, global strike deterrent system.

The Project Manager will advise and assist acquisition leadership across the Program Integration Process, including strategic communication, baseline management, long-range planning, data information analysis and reporting. Advise and assist program managers and acquisition leadership make informed decisions and manage program changes by collecting information, analyzing it, and comparing the analysis to long-term planning objectives; to include establishing, monitoring, statusing, and reporting ICBMSD programs' progress in achieving Cost, Schedule, and Performance Objectives documented in the Acquisition Program Baseline (APB).



Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Bachelor Degree and 8+ years experience managing organizations, programs or projects.
Master Degree and 6+ years experience managing organizations, programs or projects.



Preferred Skills and Education

1. DoD acquisition experience/accreditation or equivalent.
2. Working knowledge of common project management tools to include Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project and Primavera.
3. Familiarity with Earned Value Management, Risk management, Resource planning, Contracts, Government cost and accounting systems.
