Evaluates and documents functional abilities of patients based upon strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences. Based upon that evaluation, establishes treatment programs with accepted occupational therapy practice in conjunction with state law. Instructs and supervises the supportive staff in performing selective procedures in the treatment programs.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
- Masters/Doctorate degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
- Currently licensed by the State of Ohio.
- CPR Certification through American Heart Association highly recommended and required within 3 months.
- Must be computer literate to complete task(s) as required. Such as MediTech (Hospital Support Software), Halogen (performance appraisal system) Relias (education system), ability to retrieve e-mails, complete online enrollment for health insurance/benefits and any other programs as assigned.
