The ideal candidate will have a background in aerospace with 5 years of experience as an Engineering Manager, has an understanding of basic project/program management capabilities including planning, scheduling, and goal setting to complete projects, working knowledge of CAD/CAM systems and machining processes, has the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems, extensive knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings including GD&T per ASME Y14.5, and has 3+ years of MRP/ERP experience.

Summary
Responsible for continuous improvement of product quality and costs by developing and maturing programming and machining processes. Provide engineering support to existing and new projects, including equipment specifications, layout, capital budgeting and implementation. Daily work will encompass troubleshooting processes and tooling while driving tooling development and maintenance. Actively participate in new product development and facilitate the transition of new products into full production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Extensive knowledge of manufacturing practices, encompassing complex CNC machining, material composition understanding, and solid comprehension of tooling practices. Productionengineering theories, principles, practices, techniques, and concepts, and broad knowledge of other related engineering areas along with general business operationsThorough knowledge of aerospace or similar industry products and ability to effectively assess and implement 5S, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing/production principles and techniques.General knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing plants and processes.Working knowledge of CAD/CAM systems and demonstrated ability of effective deployment/utilization in a manufacturing settingAbility to apply drafting and related machining systems to make recommendations for improved productivity. Ability to work on a variety of technical problems of diverse scope and complexity where analysis and evaluation of various outcomes require tradeoffs; solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways and evaluate alternative solutions that may require coordination across multiple teams.Basic project/program management capabilities including planning, scheduling, and goal setting to complete projects.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings including GD&T per ASME Y14.5Thorough knowledge of process analysis review and statistical process control.Ability to respond to significant inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.Effective communication and presentation abilities to team members, management, and customers.Ability to effectively demonstrate team member competencies and participate in goal setting, performance feedback, and self-development activities.Conflict resolution & problem-solving skillsHighly developed sense of integrity and honesty • Computer Skills: knowledge of various PC applications such as Microsoft Office, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project.Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 PER YEAR
